Two Fold – A Wall With An Interior

This thickened wall is a two-faced entry pavilion designed for Design Miami. It has a simple exterior made of white vinyl, lifted from the same tents that house the event, and a kinetic interior fabricated from thousands of reflective gold PVC fins. The cuts within the wall allow visitors to pass through this new threshold and re frame both the surrounding site and the sky in order to create an immersive and dazzling seating area. The interior facades reflect the visitors back onto themselves creating a moment of wonder - an architectural paparazzi.
